Description:A Spring Communications Wireless Technician is required to troubleshoot, problem solve and repair cellular equipment. This person will communicate effectively and give prompt customer service. In addition, will assist customers in explaining functions of different handsets and to generate sales of used phones, unlocks, number transfers and miscellaneous accessories. It is the technicians roll to see to the growth and stabilization of the Service & Repair Center.
The Wireless Technician is often the first impression that customers have of Spring Communications; as a result, it is paramount that Wireless Technicians uphold at all times to the highest standards, the company’s mission statement and core values. The Wireless Technician position is a critical role in the company, and requires a well-rounded and determined individual that will take part in the growth of the company.
Duties:Primary Responsibilities Include:
• 40 hours a week (full time)
• Properly greet the customer and discuss issues regarding their cellular equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
• Sales of accessories and Bluetooth car kits
• Sales of Service Center services, ie; number transfers, unlocking phones and phone repairs.
• Actively promote the service center by contacting business customers, competitors and potential clients via phone and premises visits
Accountability for Operational Activities:
• Assure the quality experience as per our Mission Statement of our customers
• Obey all Policies and Procedures
• Protect the company against fraudulent and harmful activities
• Fulfill the Operational focus in servicing customers and meeting monthly goals
• Other duties as assigned
Customer Service
• Ensure all customers are assisted in a friendly, prompt, professional and ethical manner
• Follow Spring Communications mission statement
Qualifications:Required Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:
• High school diploma
• Good communication skills
• Electronics experience in trouble shooting and repairing, preferred
• Solder experience
• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience
• Ability to learn new products and services in a timely manner
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications
