| Description: | Position summary: Spring Mobile’s Web & Graphic Designer is required to provide high quality and while managing the volume of work associated with the duties outlined below. Through web design, merchandising, in store promotions, ad layouts, and graphic design this individual is responsible for the consistent delivery of the brand’s position, promise and personality. The Web & Graphic Designer needs to be self motivated and take part in leading the strategic vision of our print and web assets. Attention to detail, creativity, multi-tasking, time management, work flow optimization and meeting deadlines are crucial to succeeding in this position.
Core objective: To be the Organization’s lead point of contact for graphic design, with primary emphasis on web strategies, while upholding the integrity of the brand position, promise and personality.

| Duties: | Position responsibilities:
Web Development/E-Commerce:
• Proactively maintain, refresh and continually innovate the web presence of Spring Mobile and its affiliates to ensure each website is established as an industry leading resource for current and prospective customers
• Develop and manage relationships with e-commerce partners, web hosting partners, and all third party resources supporting the web site(s).
• Consistently implement minor, major, technical, and multimedia improvements to the website(s)
• Pursue revenue generation, email collection, and customer feedback opportunities through the use of the website(s).
• Ensure that the website(s) is listed with all major search engines with established meta-tags and keywords to be competitively placed within search engines
• Routinely update the site(s) with information about our products/services, Company, new store locations, news, and up-to-date promotions
• Work with the Operations team(s) to ensure that product graphics, descriptions and pricing are accurate as well as all “coming soon” sections and new product launches.
Graphic Design:
• Utilize graphic layouts to consistently represent the company’s brand and offerings
• Create printed advertising materials such as direct mail pieces, in-store POP, semi-permanent merchandising, ads, and sales collateral that will correctly represent the brand
• Design promotional retail merchandising and point of purchase materials
• Build database marketing direct mail and email templates to drive repeat purchase behavior.
• Design and produce a monthly E-Newsletter in collaboration with the Marketing Coordinator.
• Look for additional ways to empower retail employees with professional and user friendly graphic tools
• Provide graphic needs to other departments including sales, operations, human resource and new business development
Customers
Brand Integrity:
• Embrace the brand guidelines in all areas of the business.
• Ensure proper usage of the brand package throughout the organization’s multiple departments and vendor networks.
• Maintain brand guidelines and update as needed.
• Educate needed individuals on the importance of brand compliancy and provide them usage guidelines to work within
Project Management:
• Produce and deliver final products to the end users.
• Maintain relationships with printing vendors and internal contacts as necessary
• Continue to find ways to reduce costs, increase quality and shorten production times
• Identify and implement systems to increase efficiencies in work flow
• Provide constant communication on projects and insure every project is delivered on time and on budget.
• Ensure synergies between campaign messages and designs.
Monthly Reporting:
• By the 5th day following the end of each calendar month, the Graphic Designer will draft a month end performance report for the Director of Business Development that will include a combination of narrative and quantifiable performance for the period being reported

| Qualifications: | Essential skills and experience:
• Detailed knowledge of Quark Express, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dream Weaver
• Proficiency in all Microsoft applications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of the wireless industry and trends
• Ability to multi-task and deliver high-quality work on time is a must
Valued but not required skills and experience:
• BS/BA degree in Graphic Design Ecommerce or an equivalent
• 2-5 years professional graphic design work experience
• Ability to use and produce Flash animation is strongly recommended
